Family Time

My Mom, brother, and niece (otherwise known as Connie, Tim, & Nadia) came to visit last week. Tim had never been down here before so we had a great time showing him around. The kids kept everyone busy and got tons of swim time. We went to Great Wolf Lodge on Sunday the 17th. We even got my Mom on water slides, unfortunately there weren't any pictures to prove it. After the initial shock, she admitted that it was fun! We went to the beach and Matt took Tim to a Tides game. The last night that they were in town we met up with my favorite photographer Jessica at the beach and had a really fun photo session. We mostly laughed at all the silly stuff she had us do. Skyler, the model in training, was a complete PIA and was NOT interested in having her pics done. That's a typical model's attitude though right?

There are tons more, but you can probably only look at so many before getting sick of our faces!

Sandy Sky

We took the family to the beach on Tuesday. It was HOT here and NICE at the beach. The water was warmer than the water at the pool. The kids had a blast riding the waves. We even got to see some dolphins. I haven't uploaded all my pics yet, but here's one of Skyler that I just love.

Mini John Murphys :-)

The grandchildren have been trained and outfitted well. This was a fun and exciting Sunday morning for Zack and Nadia. They were having a grand time playing with their Webkinz online. My Dad's comment, besides being proud - "the little one needs a laptop too". We'd better get her started in the program!

Happy Father's Day!

The Third Annual (for the Molnars) Relay For Life

We've made it an annual event to participate in our local Relay For Life. Thankfully I dodged the Team Captain Bullet this year and was able to participate low stress. It was 100 degrees that evening. If we could have hung shower curtains and sold showers we would have made a fortune! The kids came with us this year and were really good. Sky fell asleep in a lawn chair at about 9:30, Zack lasted until 10:30.

"Skyler sit in front of the luminaria bags and I'll take your picture"

The luminaria ceremony is SO beautiful!

The Relay For Life in support of the American Cancer Society is SUCH a moving event. I encourage everyone to get involved in their local one next year!

Zachary's Big News

Zack's last day of Kindergarten is tomorrow. Sniff Sniff. My baby is about to be an official full-day school kid and he is SO excited. The most exciting part about first grade? Eating lunch in the cafeteria. What could be better than that? I didn't think he'd be so excited about it since he figured out how to charge (yes CHARGE) breakfast within a month or two of school starting. "Hello Mrs. Molnar? Yes, Zachary's cafeteria account has a balance of..." Anyway, he's been pretty determined to get on the tooth that his teacher has posted on the bulletin board for each child who loses a tooth. We had two weeks left and they were ticking away when that stubborn loose tooth was just hanging there. Matt held on, Zachary moved his head, and out it popped:

The tooth fairy visited that evening and left $5.00 and a note. AND Zack got his name on the big tooth before the end of the school year!
