I ended up with three stitches (never had those before). It was an interesting evening to say the least.
I let Mike take the stitches out as I wasn't about to wait hours to have someone go snip snip snip.
Skyler has been quite the peach lately. She LOVES housework and will BEG me to let her help me. I love giving her little jobs to do and she really is a huge help. Sometimes it makes things harder (such as vacumming) but I figure if I take the time to show her how to do it and let her help then she'll do it for years to come (wishful thinking).
My Kirby weighs A LOT more than she does.
Zack is doing great in school. He doesn't like "writing sentences" but seems to really love math and reading. He's a man of few words unless it's 10:30 on a school night and he's not supposed to be up. Then I get all the good info. He was recently thrilled when I showed him that a little blurb I wrote about him made it into a magazine called "Wondertime". It's also on their website if you click the link.
Matt loves his work and is a fantastic teacher. He's planning on coaching Volleyball again in the fall. We keep running into his athletes and they beg him to return. He's also recently started a part time job of bouncing in a bar. He's having fun with it and making some vacation money.
That's all I've got for January. I'll try for more pictures in February!
